Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StudyForge ("the Service"), operated by Transparency SF at learn.askbobo.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.

Description of Service

StudyForge provides:

  • Adaptive practice questions across standardized test subjects (SAT, AP, ACT, GRE, GMAT)
  • AI-powered tutoring via LISA (Learning Intelligence & Study Assistant)
  • Spaced-repetition flashcard review
  • Progress tracking, performance analytics, and study plans
  • Sandboxed code execution for programming exercises

The Service is provided for educational purposes. We do not guarantee specific test score improvements or academic outcomes.

Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must not share your account with others
  • Users under 13 may not create accounts (COPPA compliance)
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

Content & Intellectual Property

Practice questions, explanations, and educational materials on StudyForge are compiled from licensed educational content and original material. You may use this content for personal educational purposes only. You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or sell any content from the platform
  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures
  • Submit malicious code through the code execution sandbox

Code Execution

Programming exercises are executed in isolated sandbox environments (AWS Lambda with Firecracker microVMs). While we implement strong isolation, you agree not to attempt to escape the sandbox, access unauthorized resources, or submit code designed to disrupt the Service.

AI Tutoring Disclaimer

LISA, our AI tutor, provides educational guidance and explanations. AI-generated responses are not guaranteed to be error-free. LISA is a supplementary learning tool and should not be relied upon as the sole source of academic preparation. We continuously improve LISA's accuracy but cannot guarantee perfect responses.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StudyForge and Transparency SF shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
